Participation Admin – National Sports Development Organisation

Job Purpose
Reporting day-to-day to the Partnership & Governance Manager, the role of the Administrator contribute to the design, administration and processing of grants and funding streams, coordination of events, seminars and conferences on Participation as well as opportunities to work on the development of participation initiatives and projects. This role is a fantastic opportunity, for individuals who are looking to build a career in Sport, to work with the state agency responsible for investment and development of sport in Ireland.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Administration and processing of Sports Participation funding streams.
  • Processing of grant payments and administration of all compliance requirements
  • Working with various departments within the organisation to process annual and midyear reporting
  • Coordination of events, seminars, conferences and meetings
  • Development of Sports participation projects and initiatives
  • Follow up of audit and performance evaluation recommendations
  • Provision of general administrative support to the department as required
  • Support the development of annual participation report
  • Support at National Events, effectively communicating goals, objectives and performance targets within the department

Knowledge & Experience

  • Excellent administration and organisational skills.
  • High level of efficiency and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and on own initiative
  • Strong written communication skills
  • A high level of proficiency in MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Minimum of one year’s previous experience in a similar role
