Orange recruitment are currently seeking a Regional Operations Manager to join our client’s Healthcare Leadership Team. The Regional Operations Manager will be responsible for managing excellent standards and service delivery, while also looking to expanding the business and market share across the region.
The Regional Operations Manager will lead a regionally-based multifunctional team and will work closely with the centralised support teams in achieving objectives . A fundamental aspect of the Regional Operations Manager role will be to support the development and implementation of regional business development and operational strategies.
This is a full-time permanent position with normal office working hours Monday – Friday. Some remote working may apply.
Location – Flexible
This role will cover the Cork, Limerick, Waterford, Mullingar and South Dublin Offices. The Regional Operations Manager’s base will be negotiable depending on the successful candidate’s location. The role will require regular travel between the regional offices of accountability.
Key Accountabilities
Oversee the effective management of the regional offices in Westmeath, Limerick, Waterford, Cork and South Dublin.
Lead and prepare the region for the implementation of home support regulations.
Manage regional budgets and deliver key commercial and financial KPIs.
Provide strategic direction, focus and oversight.
Participate in future planning, implement regional strategies and monitor regional performance.
Provide ongoing leadership, mentorship and support to an experienced team of Area Service Managers.
Support junior team members to develop in their roles and reach full role potential.
Ensure the delivery of safe, quality and effective care within the community.
Support the development, implementation and monitoring of relevant organisational policies, procedures and standards.
Build excellent professional relations with all local HSE contacts and other important stakeholders.
Identify other opportunities of growth potential.
Continuously monitor and analyse all commercial information seeking ways to improve performance.
Essential Criteria
Experience working in a health and/or social care field.
3-5 years management experience at a senior level
Full driver’s licence and access to a car
