Senior Bookkeeper required for a permanent position

Our client based in South Dublin are looking to recruit a Senior Bookkeeper to join their team

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Record all purchase and sales invoices
  • Pay supplier invoices
  • Issue all invoices
  • Input invoices
  • Responsible for journals
  • Conduct monthly reconciliations of all accounts
  • Assemble information for external Accountants
  • Prepare reports for CEO
  • Maintain accounting filing system
  • Prepare all returns
  • Monitor procurement
  • Payroll for internal staff
  • Act as first point of contact for the finance function of the organisation
  • Responsible for Debtors and Creditors

The successful candidate should have:

  • A minimum of 5 years previous experience in a similar position
  • A qualification in bookkeeping is desirable but not essential
  • A high level of Computer literacy
  • The ability to work on your own initiative
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
