Main accountabilities include:

  • An uncompromising dedication to providing a high-quality service to our customer base achieved by accomplishing all duties in accordance with established airline regulations.
  • Ensuring service delivery to our customer base in accordance with contracts and within the agreed budget levels.
  • Ensuring safety and security procedures are in line with Health & Safety Regulations and international aviation standards.
  • Ownership for aircraft fueling and fuel farm operations and relevant situational awareness and integrity regarding such operations.
  • Full accountability for all health & safety issues, operational and financial performance regarding the aircraft fueling and fuel farm operations.
  • Monitor airline volumes/forecasts and pre-plan to mitigate potential impact to aircraft fueling operations.
  • Provide reports as requested and service delivery data/analytics.
  • Analyse issues and establish operational priorities; identify gaps and/or changes required to policies, SOP’s, LOP’s or other protocols and provide this information to the applicable Functional Managers.
  • The leadership, management, planning, coaching and development of all employees, ensuring safe and secure operations, legal and company compliance,
  • implementing IRROP procedures as required with minimal impact to the business.
  • Planning resource allocation in each business unit.
  • Supporting the development of the business units with accurate and timely project work.
  • Leading the station equipment planning cycle.
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with local airport authorities policies including but not limited to public safety, security, SeMS, IMS practices, environmental policies, workplace health & safety and all other governances through Transport Canada.
  • Ensuring compliance with all internal and external operational and administrative requirements.
  • Responsible for revenue, payroll and accounts payable functions.
  • Prepare financial reports and analyse trends, costs, revenue and obligations incurred to predict future revenue and expenses.
  • Present financial information/reports to company executives on a monthly basis or whenever required.
  • Generate financial statements for all business units and explain differences/variances in revenue, labor and operating costs against budget.
  • Prepare and review general ledger account reconciliations with related schedules, analyse prepayments/deferrals and related schedules to ensure all are kept current with the support of the local financial team.
  • Provide consistent compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and support corporate governance.
  • Interface and maintain strong relationships with customers.
  • Oversee and monitor multiple facility operations in order to ensure compliance with customer, government and company policies and procedures.
  • Lead multiple operations to achieve performance, quality, efficiency and excellence as per company standards and key performance goals
  • Monitor quality assurance program/records, ensuring all applicable procedures are compliant and maintaining facility inspection records.
  • Participate in the development of the annual budget for the operation.
  • Participate in management, administration and special project requirements.
  • Prepare and submit monthly operations reports to the SVP – Canada Operations and Airline customers.
  • Participate in Operational meetings.
  • Develop and revise operational procedures as required by contractual changes, regulation, policy, construction and necessity.
  • Oversee physical fuel movements and operations personnel to ensure proper physical inventory procedures are being followed and properly documented.
  • Maintain communication with employees, monitoring manpower schedules and requirements. Ensure the training of operational based employees is carried out to ensure proper training is accomplished and properly documented.
  • Communicate/liaise with various company departments for advice and assistance concerning operational requirements and projects.
  • Participate in the Quality Service Culture Program.
  • Management and responsibility for loss prevention, all integrated company safety performance factors and evaluating various related safety programs i.e., (Pride), Loss Prevention, etc.
  • Interfacing with internal and external auditors as required and taking responsibility for year-end auditing process compliance.
  • Other duties as assigned.
